As we wrap up the semester, we want to extend a sincere thank you to our students for the energy, curiosity, and care you bring to your work. It’s been a productive few months, and we’re continually inspired by what’s happening across your desks and screens.

In the spirit of sharing more of the day-to-day creativity within our community, we’re opening a call for student work to be featured across our socials. If you are a current or past Type Electives student with a project you’re proud of, we’d love to highlight your final work, experiments, and/or in-progress ideas that reflect your experience with Type Electives.

Who Can Submit

To be considered, you must be a current or past Type Electives student. Submitted work must be affiliated with a Type Electives course, whether you are:

• developing a work-in-progress typeface

• refining your final specimen or expanding on a project you started in class

• applying your designs out in the world through a type release, book design, branding, posters, or other projects

What to Include

• Your name

• Program/semester

• A short description of your work

• 3+ images or videos

• Your Instagram, website, or any other relevant handles you’d like us to credit

Why Submit?

As Type Electives continues to grow, we’re exploring new ways to support and engage our students. Our submission form will remain open, and we’ll continue to select a mix of student work to feature, spotlighting the creativity and thoughtfulness happening across our community.
