Type Electives Lecture Series: Designing with Criticality & Love

This is a series of lectures that invite new and established voices to share their stories, knowledge, and ideas with the community. This spring, we’re inviting artists and designers to share with us how they approach their practice from a place of criticality and love.

In this session, you’ll learn from Libbie Bischoff's journey from student to type designer — a process of learning, growth, and hard work. After graduating from the Type West program in 2020, she started a yearlong type project called 52 Fonts. She is now focusing on building her type foundry, Type Du Nord. Tune in to hear her insights and lessons learned!

Each talk will be about 30–45 mins long followed by a short Q&A.
