About This Event

Type Electives Lecture Series:

From Struggle to Strength with Jo Malinis

In this session, I'll share how my own struggles with accessibility to type design education in the Philippines ignited a desire to support other local designers in their paths. Through stories of assistance I received and the importance of encouragement and collaboration, I'll talk about how fostering a supportive design community can make a meaningful difference in helping everyone thrive.

Each talk will be about 30–45 mins long followed by a short Q&A.

The event will be hosted online via Zoom.

We look forward to having you with us!
