About This Event

Type Electives Lecture Series: Panel Discussion on Scholarships & Mentorships for Type Designers

This is part of "Designing with Criticality & Love", a series of lectures from Type Electives that invite new and established voices to share their stories, knowledge, and ideas with the community.

In this special panel discussion, Chantra Malee from Sharp Type and Veronika Burian from Type Together will come together to talk about scholarships and mentorship programs that they organize.

In this session, Chantra and Veronika will give a short 5-10 minute presentation to give the audience the context of their respective scholarship and/or mentorship programs. This will be followed by a panel discussion and open Q&A . Tune in to hear their conversations about the intentions, motivations, preparations, and outcomes of running a scholarship or mentorship program.

The event will be hosted online via Zoom. We look forward to having you with us!
