Have you ever looked at a Death-metal band album and thought “WHOA”? Have you wanted to draw these letters that are the *AbSoLuTe ExTrEmE* and are works of art in their own right? Are you forming a death metal band and want to DIY your logo? Come jam with us at this free in-person public workshop in Brooklyn!🤘🎸⚡️

Join us on Friday, April 14th from 6-8 PM at Principles GI Coffee House to learn about death metal lettering and have fun making up your own band logo! We’ll start the event with a fun mini-game hosted by Cecilia Zhang, learn about the history and context of these wild letterforms with Olivia Kane, hear from special guest Luis Valencia, then learn about how to draw your own metal band logo with Cris Hernández!

We’ll provide the paper but bring your favorite mark-making tools (pens, pencils, markers, etc). Bring your most badass friend(s) and come hang out with us on Friday night in Brooklyn at Principles GI Coffee House!
